Mussels marinara
Mussels marinara can be consumed both as an appetizer and as a second dish accompanied by a good white wine.
The mussels are a fish dish characterized by an intense aroma given by the white wine that makes this dish very tasty.
Excellent as an appetizer, to be accompanied with crispy slices of toasted bread, or as a first course, to be added to the sauce and served with spaghetti.
The preparation of mussels marinara is simple, few but fresh and quality ingredients are enough to make a classic recipe and much appreciated by all fish lovers.
Despite the simplicity and speed of the preparation, this recipe always manages to surprise the palate.
Ingredients for 4 people:
2 kg mussels
two garlic cloves
Extra virgin olive oil Q. b
parsley
chilli pepper Q. b
Proceedings
Put the mussels soaking in the water in the sink for half an hour.
Clean the mussels by putting them under the jet of running water, removing with a knife the so-called ‘ barbetta ‘ and rub them with a metal sponge for good until you remove all residues from the shell.
After you have cleaned and rinsed well the mussels prepared a saute with garlic, oil and chilli.
When the garlic is golden add the mussels clean and put the lid on.
Cook over moderate heat for 4-5 minutes. When the mussels are open, spread the flame and sprinkle with parsley.
Marinara mussels can serve with hot slices of bread.
Storage
Mussels marinara must be eaten immediately, it is not possible to freeze them.
