Mackerel fish
Mackerel fish is a second dish made of light fish with a delicate flavor. Its soft white meat is well combined with natural and simple seasonings such as lemon zest that makes this recipe exhilarating.
The mackerel is a fish that belongs to the category of blue fish, rich in nutrients that are beneficial to our body. It is one of the most widely used and appreciated fish in the Mediterranean diet: it is recommended by doctors for its intake of omega-3 fats, particularly suitable for those with hypercholesterolemia. Mackerel can be eaten freely even within a low-calorie diet. The fish is in fact very light and delicate, requires little cooking, can taste great without overdoing it with the seasonings and what and is much cheaper than other fish.

Ingredients for 2 people:
- 2 mackerels
- extra virgin oil
- garlic
- salt
- lemon juice
- parsley
Method of cooking mackerel fish:

Be careful that the mackerel is fresh this is very important.
Clean the mackerel well.
Wash well with running tap water.
Boil the mackerel in a saucepan with boiling hot water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar.

Boil for 10 minutes.
Remove the mackerel from the cooking water and let it cool down a little.

Once warmed, clean the mackerel well, removing all the bones and other non edible parts.
Sauce :
Finely chop the garlic, put it in a bowl where you add the lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt and chopped parsley too.
Put the cleaned mackerel fillets on a plate and season with the prepared sauce.
Now the mackerel fish is ready to bring it to the table, very light and tasty.
